Valencia’s Sergio Canales has been dealt another injury blow with the news that he has been ruled out for the next three weeks with a hamstring injury.
The attacking midfielder has recently returned to playing action after a lengthy spell on the sidelines with successive cruciate knee ligament injuries.
But, having just returned to action once more at the weekend after a two-week lay-off with a hamstring strain, the youngster has been confirmed today has having re-injured the muscle.
Tests have revealed a new two centimetre tear in the hamstring of his left leg, just inches away from the previous one suffered in April, which will now require a three-week lay-off.
