Zidane to assist Ancelotti?

Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has reportedly chosen Zinedine Zidane to become Carlo Ancelotti’s assistant at the club next season.

Ancelotti is increasingly being linked with a move to the Madrid bench at the end of the season, just as Jose Mourinho is expected to leave the Santiago Bernabeu.

AS have it that Perez is keen to bring back Zidane to a prominent role with Los Merengues, to follow up his brief stint as sporting director that ended last summer.

The Frenchman, who played under Ancelotti at Juventus for two seasons, has been studying for his coaching badges in recent months.
