Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has emerged as a transfer target for Barcelona, according to reports in the Spanish Press.
Current shot-stopper Victor Valdes has already confirmed that he will leave the Blaugrana in the summer, and Mundo Deportivo has claimed that Tito Vilanova’s side will look to Reina as a short-term replacement.
The 30-year-old left Camp Nou as a youngster in 2002 to join Villarreal, before signing for the Premier League side in 2005.
But the Barcelona-based newspaper has insisted that the Catalan club will make a move for the Spain international at the end of the season.
