Milan targeting Fabregas

Milan are reportedly interested in trying to convince Barcelona to part with Cesc Fabregas this coming summer.

The Corriere dello Sport suggest that the Rossoneri are looking to improve midfield options for next season and have identified Fabregas as their primary reinforcement.

It is believed that the Italians tried to sign the 25-year-old in the summer of 2011, when he left Arsenal to return to Barca in a €34m deal.

Milan are believed prepared to return to the player this summer, with it understood that Fabregas’ former Arsenal teammate Mathieu Flamini, now at San Siro, likely to play a part in convincing the Spaniard to switch to Serie A.

Reports in Spain suggest that Arsenal may also be interested in making a bid to bring Fabregas back to London.
