Borussia Dortmund are being linked this week with a summer move for Real Valladolid’s German attacker Patrick Ebert.

Ebert has impressed this term at the Jose Zorilla following a free transfer from Hertha Berlin last summer and has increasingly been linked with a move come the end of the season.

Previously paired with Valencia, the 26-year-old was recently caught talking with Atletico Madrid sporting director Jose Luiz Perez Caminero, much to Valladolid’s fury.

Accoridng to the latest reports, it is Champions League finalists Dortmund who are next in line to have a go at the German.

Their sporting director Michael Zorc has apparently identified Ebert as a potential replacement for the departing Mario Gotze.

Ebert’s contract has an €8m buyout clause inserted, of which 35 per cent would be due to him.
