Jurgen Klopp has seemingly recovered Mario Gotze and Ilkay Gundogan for Borussia Dortmund’s trip to Real Madrid this week, but Lukasz Piszczek is a doubt.
The trio all featured in Dortmund’s 4-1 win over Madrid for last Wednesday’s Champions League semi-final first leg win, before missing the Germans’ weekend trip to Fortuna Dusseldorf with respective injuries.
Reports indicate that Gotze, who was struggling with a hip issue and Gundogan, who has a sore neck, both returned to full training on Sunday and are seen as available to make the trip out to Madrid for Tuesday evening’s return leg at the Santiago Bernabey.
However, doubts remain over right-back Piszczek, who in struggling with a groin strain only managed 10 minutes of yesterday’s session. The Poland international has travelled out with the rest of the squad, though.
