Ronaldo back to full training

Cristiano Ronaldo has seemingly rejoined the Real Madrid main group for today’s training, ahead of their clash with Borussia Dortmund.

The Portuguese missed the weekend derby against Atletico Madrid due to a thigh injury sustained in last Wednesday’s Champions League semi-final first leg defeat in Dortmund.

The attacker picked up the complaint during that game’s warm-up routine before playing through the subsequent 4-1 defeat.

After intensive physiotherapy through the week, Ronaldo returned to light exercise on Sunday and has followed that up today with full participation in the 15 minutes of Monday’s training session open to reporters.

The 28-year-old was described as moving without discomfort in the workout that saw all but Alvaro Arbeloa and Marcelo take part in.

The two full-backs are discarded from consideration for Tuesday’s return leg against the Germans through respective injuries.
