Paco Jemez has urged his Rayo Vallecano players to not only dominate games but to return to winning them too.
A run of just one win from the last five games played has seen the Madrid minnows drift away from European qualification contention.
“We will try to be more effective in front of goal. The team performs at a spectacular level and, win or lose, always leaves the field with a good feeling,” enthused Jemez before Friday night’s visit of Osasuna.
“Our dynamic is good for what we take into the game. Now is the time to harness all the good in order to win.
“We cannot be only superior, we must overcome our opponents. I’m surprised that we have reached this point of the season as fresh as this. We will try to go on, but winning.
“Osasuna are a complicated team, playing with dramatic intensity that few are able to produce.
“In the reverse fixture this season we played one of our best games and yet we lost.”
