Valencia midfielder Sergio Canales will be sidelined for the next two weeks after suffering a 'microfracture' against Malaga.
The youngster had to limp out of Los Che's 5-1 win over the Andalusian side on Saturday evening, and doctors have confirmed that the 22-year-old suffered a microfracture to his left femur.
The former Real Madrid has been plagued by injuries during his brief career in the Spanish top-flight, already undergoing two knee ligament operations.
The playmaker will be out for games against Real Sociedad and Osasuna.
