Manuel Pellegrini has praised the Malaga fans after his side beat Osasuna 1-0 on Saturday evening.
A 93rd minute strike from Julio Baptista gave the Andalusian side all three points, and the Chilean Coach has conceded that the supporters were the reason for the win.
“I want to thank the Malaga fans for the emotions they made me feel today,” he told a Press conference.
“I lack the words to explain how I feel. The fans gave us the boost that we needed.
“It was difficult the way we went out of the Champions League, but the team responded here.
“No wonder football is the biggest sport in the world.”
