Valencia boss Ernesto Valverde has insisted that he was pleased with his side despite only drawing with Espanyol on Saturday.
Los Che came from 2-1 down to lead 3-2 in stoppage time, but a late Sergio Garcia goal ensured that the game ended 3-3 and both sides went away with a point.
The 49-year-old though praised his team for overcoming 'a difficult situation'.
“This is football,” he told a Press conference. “These things happen. It was a tough game.
“When they made it 2-1 there was very little time, but somehow we managed to make it 3-2.
“We did not get three points but I am pleased with how my team performed.
“The players have overcome a difficult situation here.”
