On loan Borussia Dortmund midfielder Nuri Sahin will be allowed to play against parent-club Real Madrid.
The Turkey international left Santiago Bernabeu and re-joined the Bundesliga side in January on an 18-month loan deal.
But he will be permitted to face Los Blancos when the two meet in the Champions League semi-final later this month as there is no clause in his contract stating otherwise.
Sahin failed to make an impact in Spain, playing just 10 League games after signing for €10m.
