Jeremy Toulalan’s season could be over for Malaga after the midfielder sustained a broken toe against Borussia Dortmund.
The Frenchman, who was a notable performer for the Anchovies in their Champions League quarter-final elimination in Germany, was confirmed today by the club to have sustained the injury.
The club reported that Toulalan played with the injury for the final 10 minutes of the game, with it ‘completely unnoticed’ at the time.
Speculation is that the injury is severe enough to rule him out for the rest of the season, but Malaga have indicated that they hope to have him back playing for the final stretch in the League.
