Mats Hummels has opened the door on a possible move to Barcelona by conceding that they are one of few teams he would consider joining.
The centre-back has been increasingly linked with a move to the Camp Nou in the coming summer, with Barca seen as scanning the market for defensive reinforcements for 2013-14.
“I am my father [and agent] would turn down 99.9 per cent of the teams around the world when they come in for us,” commented Hummels to Bild today.
“But Barcelona are one of two or three clubs that would make me consider the possibility of a move.
“In that event, I would consider whether it makes sense to leave.
“Whilst I would consider my departure, I’m saying that I would be willing to leave Borussia.”
