'Catching Barca almost impossible'

Cristiano Ronaldo has conceded that it is 'almost impossible' for his side to catch Barcelona at the top of La Liga.

The Portuguese forward scored in Los Blancos' 5-1 win over Levante on Saturday evening, but the capital side still find themselves 13 points adrift of the Catalan club.

And the goalscorer has admitted that the League title is not a genuine possibility, whilst also commenting on the Champions League tie with Galatasary and his future.

“I do believe in miracles,” he told reporters. “It may be possible, but it is going to be very difficult.

“[Catching Barcelona] is almost impossible. But winning always gives you confidence so we must always try.

“The [Champions League] tie is not decided yet. We have to go there and play.

“3-0 is a good advantage, but we have to go with the ambition of scoring a goal.

“My future is not important – my future is Real Madrid.”
