Mourinho: I will return to Inter

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho has commented once more on his future and left an open promise to one day return to coach Inter.

The Portuguese spent two years at the club between 2008 and 2010, winning a League, Cup and European Cup treble in his second season.

Linked with an exit this summer from Madrid, the Portuguese has been continually linked with a number of clubs, including a return to the Nerazzurri.

“I want to go back to Inter at some stage, but not next season,” Mourinho asserted when asked again, this time after Madrid’s 3-0 Champions League win over Galatasaray.

“That is not a lie, that is my heart talking. I repeat, I want to go back to Inter, like I want to go back to England, but it won’t be next season.

“My next club will certainly not be Inter.”

Mourinho was also asked for his assessment of Bayern’s 2-0 Champions League quarter-final first leg win over Juventus this week.

“Both are great teams who could win the competition.

“I wasn’t surprised that the Germans won and I wouldn’t be surprised if Juve won the return.”
