New deal for Real’s Loren

Real Sociedad sporting director Lorenzo Juarros, better known as Loren, has agreed a new two-year contract.

Loren has been confirmed by the club today as having agreed to and signed a new deal committing him to the club until June 2015.

“We are doing very well sporting wise,” explained President Jokin Aperribay in a statement today.

“La Real is growing with a clear sporting policy that is strengthening the club financially. We continue to grow and move forward.”

“The renovation project that began four years ago has been successful so far, and the result of this is the board’s decision to renew,” explained Loren.

“The project has had its difficulties, it has been consolidated and is becoming significantly reliable, with a large number of players from the academy in the team.

“This is a line that we will continue along regardless of what the team achieve, because it is the line that gives most stability to La Real.”

Real Sociedad sit fourth in La Liga at the moment, whilst last weekend’s 2-2 draw at Espanyol saw Coach Philippe Montanier start with 10 homegrown players for the team.
