Valencia are reportedly prepared to offer cash plus a choice from four players in an attempt to have Celta Vigo part with striker Iago Aspas.
Los Che are thought to have a five-year contract agreed with the striker, who has impressed this term in his debut campaign in the top flight.
However, whilst Carlos Mourino confirmed this week that his club are in talks with Valencia, he also suggested that the player’s €10m buyout clause remains the asking price.
Los Che are seen as trying to work around that, in light of their financial issues proving restrictive, and are reportedly set to offer €5m to be paid in instalments and a number of players for Celta to sign from their ranks.
Specifically, Juan Bernat, youth team member Portu or Carles Gil would be put up in part exchange, or even Jonathan Viera, who is a known target of Celta’s.
