Real Madrid assistant Aitor Karanka claimed that his side played a game of two halves against Mallorca on Saturday.
Los Blancos came back from 2-1 down to defeat the Islanders 5-2 at Santiago Bernabeu, thanks to goals from Gonzalo Higuain, Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric and Karim Benzema.
But the Basque Coach was disappointed with his team's quality during the first half yesterday.
“We made a lot of mistakes,” he told a Press conference. “Not just the goals in the first half, but also in giving the ball away and a lack of concentration as a whole.
“But we spoke during the break and changed the tactics.
“The manager said it a while ago, but we're the only ones who can correct our mistakes. Everyone can see the level that the players can get to, and we have to take responsibility for the mistakes.”
