Three at the back for Barca?

Barcelona are reportedly considering deploying a three-man defence against Milan in the Champions League Last 16 second leg tonight.

La Blaugrana, who struggled to create chances in the reverse leg in Italy, must score twice tonight to have any chance of progressing to the quarter-finals, with a 2-0 score-line to turn around.

Subsequently, it is speculated that the team may change tactics to push Milan back.

Catalan-based Mundo Deportivo list Gerard Pique as alongside Javier Mascherano and Jordi Alba in a back-three, with Carles Puyol benched.

Dani Alves and Cristian Tello are speculated as being placed on either wing to support centre-forward Alexis Sanchez, with Lionel Messi deployed in a No 10 position just behind.

Xavi Hernandez is seen as likely to start in midfield alongside Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta.
