Real Madrid fans want Laudrup

Real Madrid fans have voted overwhelmingly for Michael Laudrup as the club look set to find Jose Mourinho's replacement at the club.

73 per cent of Santiago Bernabeu supporters want the Swansea Coach to be in charge next season, with Rafael Benitez (18 per cent) and Carlo Ancelotti (nine per cent) coming second and third respectively in a poll conducted by AS.

However, the Danish tactician has insisted that he does not want to talk about his future, as he guides the Welsh side to their first League Cup final this weekend.

“This is no time to talk about my future,” he told a Press conference. “We are just a day away from one of the biggest games in the club's history.

“So to talk about anything else is a little cruel. We must focus on this match – anything else is secondary.”

Laudrup spent two years as a player for Los Blancos between 1994 and 1996.
