Former Chelsea player/manager Ruud Gullit believes that Jose Mourinho will return to the west London club in the summer.
The Portuguese tactician left the Premier League side in 2007, before becoming Inter and Real Madrid Coach.
There have, however, been constant rumours that the 50-year-old will leave the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season – something that the Dutch legend believes will happen.
“The main objective for Rafa Benitez is to qualify for the Champions League and then he will give way for Mourinho,” he told AS.
“I have a feeling that he was ready to return after the end of last season, but when Chelsea won the Champions League, they thought better of hiring him.
“It is no coincidence that after the final, he signed a new contract with Madrid.”
