Malaga boss Manuel Pellegrini has a verbal agreement to take over at Manchester City, according to reports in Chile.
24horas.cl have claimed that the 59-year-old held talks with officials from the Premier League club on Wednesday, and agreed in principle to take over from current Coach Roberto Mancini.
The website fail to reveal when the Boquerones tactician will complete his move to the English champions, but it is believed that the Chilean will be handed the reins at the end of this season.
Only last week, Pellegrini's agent confirmed that he had turned down a move to Roma in January.
