Juve targeting Alexis Sanchez

Juventus are reportedly set to start talks with Barcelona today over a proposed summer transfer for Alexis Sanchez.

The Chilean has struggled to make a definitive impact at the Camp Nou since his summer 2011 arrival from Udinese for an initial fee of €26m.

Juve are seen as intent on bringing him back to Serie A and will reportedly send representatives to San Siro today to open talks with Barca over a proposed move.

The Bianconeri’s director general Beppe Marotta is believed to be preparing a loan-plus-fee bid for the 24-year-old, which would see the Italians pay €5m to take the player on a temporary basis in 2013-14 and then a further €20m in the summer of 2014 to sign him outright.
