Milan have been advised by Giancarlo Marocchi to bear down on Barcelona’s players tonight, to annoy them where possible.

The Rossoneri host the Catalans this Wednesday evening in the first leg of their Champions League Last 16 clash.

“The Milan players should try to be annoying, especially when dealing with Lionel Messi,” the former Bologna and Juventus man told Sky Sport Italia.

“They also need to get physical if necessary because it is never easy trying to get the ball off him.

“Milan need to create the kind of difficulties and that opposition which he is not used to dealing with in the Spanish game.”
