Valencia have been dealt a blow with the news that centre-back Adil Rami faces up to three weeks on the sidelines.
The French international was injured in Los Che’s weekend League match at home to Mallorca and had to be substituted.
Tests carried out have today revealed that the 27-year-old has suffered a 4mm tear in one of his left leg’s hamstring muscles.
Rami has already begun a plan of recovery and will in principle now miss League games against Zaragoza, Levante and Athletic Bilbao, as well as the away leg of Valencia’s Champions League Last 16 clash with Paris Saint-Germain.
