Athletic Bilbao midfielder Iker Muniain has revealed that he will begin rehabilitation on his strained knee ligament in a few days.
The 20-year-old limped off in the club's 4-0 loss to Espanyol at the weekend, with reports indicating that he would be out for up to four weeks.
But the Spain international told the club's official Facebook that he is ready for physical therapy, and also remarked on the resounding loss to the Periquitos.
“I am keeping the joint immobilized at the moment,” he posted on the social network site.
“And then in a few days I will begin physical therapy and functional rehabilitation.
“The Espanyol loss was a bad result that makes things a lot more difficult for ourselves.
“We have to continue to work hard and score as many points as possible until the end of the season.”
