Radamel Falcao is in contention to feature for Atletico Madrid this weekend after returning to training.
The Colombian was thought in contention to make a return to Diego Simeone’s line-up on Thursday evening, 10 days on from suffering a thigh strain.
However, it was determined that he was not fully recovered and so sat out the eventual 2-1 win.
In approaching the weekend’s visit of Real Betis, though, the 26-year-old is back in consideration for activity, after rejoining the main group and training as normal.
Falcao was initially ruled out for a non-specific period of time after suffering his injury in Week 20’s win over Levante.
