Iniesta: Barca dominated, but…

Andres Iniesta also believed that Barcelona were capable of more than a draw in last night’s Cup semi-final at Real Madrid.

The Catalans return home with a 1-1 result from the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final played in the Spanish capital.

“Perhaps we are leaving with a bad taste in our mouths because we had our chances. When it was 0-1 we had the chances to make it 2-0,” reflected the No 8 to reporters afterwards.

“They had their chances, too. It was a very competitive game, with great intensity. In general we dominated, at times, however, we weren’t very precise.

“At some points we were a little wild with the game because they play this type of direct football. We did not take a goal on the counter-attack, which they are the masters of.

“We dominated most of the match, we created chances and we could have scored another, but the end result is what it is.

“We have to be positive about the score seeing that coming to the Bernabeu and winning isn’t easy.”
