Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente will have an MRI scan on a knee injury he picked up at training on Saturday.
The Spain international, who will join Juventus on a free transfer at the end of the season, was set to make his first appearance at San Mames since the announcement, but will now miss the match with Atletico Madrid this evening.
A statement on the club's official website read: “Llorente suffered a sprain to his right knee during the latter part of Saturday's session.
“On Monday January 28 he will have an MRI scan to evaluate the damage.”
