Carles Puyol has signed a contract extension with Barcelona that ties him to the club until 2016.
The 34-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a new deal with the Blaugrana, as he signs for a further three years.
Puyol made his debut for the Camp Nou club in 1999 and has made over 500 games for the Catalan side.
