One game bans for Adan, Ronaldo

Antonio Adan and Cristiano Ronaldo will both be absent from Real Madrid’s League trip to Osasuna through suspension.

Adan was dismissed in the opening minutes of Madrid’s 4-3 win over Real Sociedad in Week 18, whilst Ronaldo picked up a fifth yellow card of the season in the same game.

Subsequently, the Spanish Football Federation’s Competition Committee have handed the duo respective one-game suspensions.

Elsewhere, Real Zaragoza have been fined €700 and their defender Alvaro Gonzalez fined €600 and handed a two-game ban for his red card picked up against Real Betis, for the act and for his insult to the referee.

Piti’s yellow card picked up for Rayo Vallecano at the weekend has been rescinded, but not those of Granada’s Mikel Rico or Levante’s Vicente Iborra. Getafe’s Michel has been banned for a game for repeatedly offending a Rayo Vallecano player at the weekend.

A number of players have been suspended for one game for red cards picked up or accumulated yellow cards: Estrada (Real Sociedad), Laporte (Athletic), Movilla (Zaragoza), Benat (Betis), Inigo Lopez (Granada), Abel Aguilar (Deportivo), Jesus Gamez (Malaga), Mikel Gonzalez (Real Sociedad), Inigo Martinez (Real Sociedad), Hector Moreno (Espanyol)
