Leonardo drops Ronaldo hint

Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has reflected that ‘anything is possible’ and that his club are one of few that could sign Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese has been linked on and off with a move away from Real Madrid next summer, in light of his public declaration of unhappiness at the start of the season over rumoured difficulties in signing a new contract.

PSG are one of the clubs pushed in his direction and as Leonardo reflected today, are one of the few that could make a move.

“PSG are a club where everything is possible. Ronaldo has a long contract with Madrid and there are not many clubs that are like Madrid,” began the former Milan and Inter Coach to L’Equipe.

“Nothing is concrete, there has been no contact. But now, when it comes to signing a great player like him, there are only four or five clubs that can manage it and PSG are one of them.”

The Brazilian was then asked if the same applied to Barcelona’s Lionel Messi.

“He will never leave Barcelona.”
