Tito Vilanova is again reported as overseeing training at Barcelona this morning and is expected now to be on the bench for the weekend’s game with Espanyol.
The 44-year-old underwent surgery at the end of December as part of treatment for suffering a relapse in his recovery from an initial tumour discovered just over a year before.
Less than two weeks after his surgery, the Coach, who will be combining chemotherapy treatment with his work, is overseeing Thursday morning’s session and, as Mundo Deportivo believe, will take training for the rest of the week before returning to the bench for Sunday’s Catalan derby with Espanyol.
Meanwhile, the club were also handed the boost of seeing Adriano, Alex Song, Cesc Fabregas and Isaac Cuenca all return to full training after respective absences through injury.
