Falcao set for Madrid?

Atletico Madrid President Enrique Cerezo has reportedly said that Radamel Falcao has a deal signed to join Real Madrid in the summer.

The Colombian striker has been the subject of transfer speculation since the end of last season, with Madrid alongside Chelsea as regularly-named interested parties.

According to Punto Pelota, Cerezo has confirmed that it is Madrid who have won the race for the 26-year-old.

They are running a quote that the President is reported to have told an invited guest in the directors’ box at the Vicente Calderon during the recent League match against Celta Vigo.

“Falcao has had something signed with Real Madrid for some time,” Cerezo is alleged to have told this guest.
