Reports in Spain and Italy believe that Diego Buonanotte is days away from completing a move from Malaga to Palermo.
The Argentine winger agreed to sign for Malaga just under two years ago from River Plate, but has struggled for game-time in the Costa del Sol since joining up with the team in the summer of 2011.
Subsequently, it is believed that the 24-year-old is on the verge of securing a mid-season move to Serie A, with AS and a number of Italian outlets running the line that his agents are in Sicily finalising negotiations with Palermo.
The Rosanero are reported as close to agreeing a fee of between €2.5m and €3m for his signature.
