Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis could be out for up to a month, Los Colcheneros have announced.
The Brazilian fullback, substituted half way through Atleti’s 4-1 loss to Barcelona last night, has apparently suffered a tear in his right quadriceps.
Luis underwent an MRI scan today, with the problem said to be unrelated to his recent hamstring difficulties. The one month estimate is yet to be confirmed but he will definitely miss Friday’s game against Celta Vigo.
