Celta Vigo President Carlos Mourino will definitively state that Iago Aspas is not for sale on Monday.
Aspas has been one of the revelations of the season so far, scoring six goals and providing three assists for the newly promoted Celestes.
The 25-year-old forward has inevitably been linked with moves elsewhere as a result, but Celta do not want to sell, and according to Marca they will make this crystal clear at a Press conference on Monday.
Aspas will only leave in the event that someone pays his €10m buyout clause plus VAT. Given Spanish football’s current state financially the only clubs who could afford that are Barcelona and Real Madrid. Neither is said to be interested and the player does not want to move abroad at this stage.
