Real Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Malaga now know the possible opponents they will face in the Last 16 of the Champions League.
With the conclusion of the group stages on Wednesday night, the Spanish quartet, who were all assured of their passage before the sixth round of fixtures, now know which teams they might be paired with in next Thursday’s Last 16 draw.
Rules for the draw see that clubs cannot face teams from the same nation nor those who came through form the same group.
Barcelona and competition debutants Malaga both topped their group and face arguably easier draws than Madrid and Valencia, who both progressed through second in their respective groups.
The first legs of the Last 16 ties will be played across February 12, 13, 19 and 20 and the second legs across March 5, 6, 12 and 13.
