Mourinho ‘won’t take a holiday’

Jose Mourinho has quipped that he won’t be taking a break from football next year, he will continue to work, at Real Madrid or ‘wherever’.

Quotes from the Portuguese tactician to members of the foreign Press after last night’s 4-1 win for Madrid over Ajax are emerging and have Mourinho taking further questions on his future.

In response to the rumours that he could leave Madrid next summer, the 49-year-old took the chance to allude to Pep Guardiola, who after four years at Barcelona, decided to take a year’s sabbatical from the game.

“If I go, it will not be for a year’s vacation. I will work. If not here, I will go somewhere else,” commented the Portuguese to Dutch television when asked what he would do if he left the Santiago Bernabeu.

“No, I do not feel any pressure. It is not true. Would I go back to England? Wherever. Maybe in Holland.

“I have read in the Spanish Press that Ancelotti is coming here in the summer. So, that means one of two things – either we work together or switch our jobs,” continued the Coach, when asked by a French reporter of a possible move to Paris Saint-Germain.

“Yes, it would be a good destination, to play Champions League matches.”
