Genoa to take Floro Flores

Antonio Floro Flores’ brief stint on loan at Granada is set to come to an end, with Genoa reportedly on the verge of taking the player’s ownership.

Floro Flores is currently training by himself and facing a disciplinary enquiry at Granada for skipping his team’s game this weekend with Espanyol to go skiing.

The Italian, who is alleged to have told the club that he was injured, has since apologised to fans, but is expected not to feature for Juan Antonio Anquela’s team again.

Granada are set to lose the Italian in the winter market, with his parent club Udinese set to recall him and send him permanently to fellow Serie A side Genoa in a player exchange deal.

The 29-year-old striker has made 12 appearances in League and Cup for Granada this season, managing the one goal.
