Mourinho to leave Madrid?

Marca are running the line on Monday that Jose Mourinho has agreed to leave Real Madrid at the end of the current season.

The Portuguese, who signed a new contract to June 2016 with Los Blancos last May, after leading the team to their 32nd League title, has come under pressure this term.

This is in relation to a poor start to the defence of the championship, which sees the side 11 points adrift of League leaders Barcelona and due to the Coach’s reported in-fighting with a number of his dressing room’s key men.

Despite winning the weekend’s Madrid derby 2-0, Mourinho has reportedly held talks with President Florentino Perez and, according to Marca, the duo have agreed that the Coach will depart next June, at the end of the current season.

Perez is reported to be particularly unhappy with Mourinho’s ‘suicidal’ attacks in the media on Castilla Coach Alberto Toril and his handling of Sergio Ramos this term.
