Espanyol boss Javier Aguirre has claimed his side were 'exemplary' as they drew 0-0 with Granada.
The Mexican Coach claimed a point in his first game in charge of the Barcelona-based club, and admitted that his men were full of fighting spirit.
“We were better defensively than offensively,” he told a Press conference. “But our work overall was exemplary.
“The players were full of fighting spirit and worked well as a unit.”
He also commented on his opening game back in Spain, after his departure from Real Zaragoza in 2011.
“I have good feelings coming back to La Liga,” he said. “It is very nice to be coaching in this environment.”
