Barcelona boss Tito Vilanova has highlighted his side's work ethic as the reason behind their record-breaking start to the League campaign.
The Blaugrana have made the best ever start to a La Liga season as they beat Athletic Bilbao 5-1 yesterday, to claim 13 wins and a draw in their first 14 matches.
But the 44-year-old believes it is their willingness to work for each other that has seen the team go from strength-to-strength this term.
“I am happy to have beaten the record,” he told a Press conference. “It is obviously a difficult thing to do something that no one has done before, but to see so many of my players pressing in the 90th minute gave me more pleasure.
“Athletic Bilbao made it complicated for us. It may look easy, winning so many games, but if the teams we play against run a lot, we have to run more.
“If we keep playing together, as a team, and not every man for himself, then we can get even better.”
