Spain Coach Vicente Del Bosque has claimed that La Roja 'have a responsibility' to do well at next year's Confederations Cup.
The national team were drawn against Uruguay, Tahiti and the winner of the African Cup of Nations to be decided in February.
But the 61-year-old believes they have to prepare as well as possible and 'respect the rivals'.
“Because we have won the World Cup and European Championship, we have a greater responsibility.
“What we have to do is prepare as well as possible and respect our rivals.
“Uruguay were fourth in the World Cup two years ago, whenever I've seen an African side they are always good and we have to show Tahiti respect.
“A well-organized football team is a problem for anyone, so we have to get in top condition.”
He also commented on who he felt were the favourites for the competition.
“Everyone says Brazil are asleep, but I think they are the team to beat.”
