Los Angeles Galaxy owner Tim Leiweke believes the club are close to agreeing a deal with Real Madrid for Kaka.
The Major League Soccer club are looking for their next star-name after David Beckham announced he would leave the team in the January.
And the President of the Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) who control the west-coast side, is confident that they can agree a deal.
“We are well aware of the interest in Kaka from other MLS teams,” he told Sports Illustrated. “And we have made our interest clear as well.
“We have a great relationship with Real Madrid, with whom we have worked for six years, and we think we can find the right deal this time.”
