Jose Mourinho is described by the British Press on Friday morning as ‘willing’ to take the Manchester City job.
The Real Madrid Coach is under pressure heading into the weekend’s Madrid derby with Atletico, with a poor start to the League season having seen the team fall 11 points behind Barcelona after just 13 rounds.
The Sun are the latest publication to suggest that the Portuguese is looking for a way out and have paired him today with a move to Premier League champions City.
The publication argues that the English club’s owner Sheikh Mansour could be tempted to bring in the 49-year-old in place of Roberto Mancini, and that Mourinho’s agent Jorge Mendes has already held preliminary talks with sporting director Txiki Begiristain.
Reportedly, the Coach’s advisors have also made clear that Mourinho would prefer a move to City and a return to the Premier League, over a possible switch to Paris Saint-Germain.
