Barcelona are back in training after last night’s Cup win, but may be without Adriano for the weekend visit of Athletic Bilbao.
The Brazilian featured in Wednesday evening’s second leg Copa del Rey success over Alaves, but did not show for training with the rest of the team on Thursday morning due to a stomach virus.
The full-back will be assessed by medical staff in the coming hours to determine if he can be fit for Saturday evening’s home match with Athletic.
Coach Tito Vilanova is already working without fellow full-back Dani Alves for the coming matches, due to a hamstring strain.
Marc Bartra and Alexis Sanchez returned to gentle field work in this morning’s session, as they continue recovery from respective injuries.
