David Villa has been given the all clear by medical staff at Barcelona to feature in tonight’s Copa del Rey match.
The striker was included in the squad to welcome Alaves to the Camp Nou on Wednesday night, having returned to full training on Monday.
However, doubts surrounded his ability to feature as the medical staff had yet to assess his recovery from a foot injury that saw him skip the weekend’s League fixture at Levante.
Tests have now been carried out, though, and the striker has been issued with a clean bill of health, clearing him for action tonight.
