Portuguese club Braga will apparently report Atletico Madrid to UEFA and FIFA for non payment for the transfer of Pizzi.
Young forward Pizzi, who is on loan at Deportivo this season, was the subject of an option agreement between Braga and Atleti, which was only due to expire in October of this year.
However, A Bola report today that the Portuguese side are claiming that a first instalment of €1.5m as part of that deal was due to be paid as far back as June and has yet to be received, whilst they also anticipate a further €3m payment next January.
This is in contrast to October’s reports that suggested Atletico would only start paying for the player from the 2013-14 season.
Braga will reportedly make their grievance over the first missed payment official with a complaint to the game’s governing bodies.
